Front-wheel drive is standard for the LX, S, and EX trims, while the rest of the lineup gets standard AWD. If you’d like AWD at the lower end of the range, the S trim level is available with the option of AWD. Non-turbo models can tow up to 2,000 pounds, but you can tow up to 3,500 pounds with turbo models. But if you want the best towing capability the Kia Sorento offers, the X-Pro SX Prestige AWD is rated at 4,500 pounds.
